Agrill is the 76th Arachne prince and was born to one of the consorts not the Queen, so he’s pretty much worthless to the royal family. The only reason he even lives in the Palace is because he looks like his mother, now deceased, so his father can’t bear to part with him due to his sentimentality towards his mother.

His family is desperately trying to marry him off to a noble girl in order to at least strengthen some ties thru his marriage since he can’t contribute much else.However he’s not really considered good marriage material either since the “worth” of male Arachne comes from their carapace (the dark parts, the exoskeleton) and his only covers bits of his torso and back so he’s looked at as being really weak and sickly and too human.

Annnnd I will never draw the comic he’s from so…
